The public sector client is looking to recruit a Test Manager got work on a 5 month temporary contract, which is home-based, however the successful candiare will need to pick up the  IT equipment for this assignment from the head office in Manchester. The successful candidate will have a valid DBS. Please Note: This assignment sits inside of IR35.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Manager to build a new IT system that will support the administration of a new scheme. The candidate would need experience of deploying Windows, in depth knowledge of Active Directory, remote desktop services (RDS), To build a new IT system which will be delivered on a cloud based platform procured through a specific framework. The users of the systems are in two broad groups; external and internal who will make claims via the Internet such as internal staff who administer the claims process. You will need to build trust relationships externally and internally. The new system will centralise and streamline the processes we have in place. Once built the new IT system will have to be deployed in to Windows.

Significant experience of Windows 10, Active Directory, SCCM, Microsoft 365, Identity and Access Management.
• Significant experience of managing testing on a Windows 10 deployment.
• Must be confident and an excellent communicator who is comfortable negotiating with senior stakeholders.

Desirable experience:

• Experience of SailPoint IdentityNow Identity and Access Management solution.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Windows 10 Project Team and multiple suppliers to ensure the following main duties of the role are delivered:
• Working with our suppliers to ensure there is a robust test strategy and plan
• Developing test cases
• Managing the execution of test cases
• Managing defects uncovered
• Reporting on testing progress
• Obtaining sign-off on the testing phase
Required experience:
