The public sector client is looking to recruit an Accountant for a 5 month temporary contract that enables you to work remotely and partially in the office (in London). The successful candidate will have a valid CTC Clearance.

What you will do: Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards; Summarise current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports; Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice; Providing tax support and guidance to the business; supporting review and approval of the Departments VAT returns.
