Job Description
The public sector client is looking to recruit a Solutions Architect for a 5/6 month temporary contract (up until, the end of the financial year) which enables you to work remotely until the restrictions ease, however, thereafter you will be required to work at any of the clients hubs, which include: Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool, Newcastle, or London.
Please Note: This assignment sits inside IR35.

Essential Skills & Experience
This should also include the Levels of skills you require:
1. Architecture design and modelling techniques, tools and standards.
2. Application architecture, frameworks, technologies, tools and best practice.
3. Experience of software architecture, Event Driven, Microservice and API-led architecture and best practice.
4. Knowledge of Public Cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, cloud hosting and networking design patterns, tools and best practice.
5. Agile / DevOps delivery methodologies and best practice.
Knowledge and Experience required:
e.g. Previous experience of working for a government dept
Key Tasks & Deliverables
Summary of the Role and key responsibilities:
• Working collaboratively with squads, projects and other architects to design microservice and events based solutions in line with CMG and DWP design standards
• Seeking and obtaining Architecture governance approval for solutions
• Working with the Product Manager to define technical roadmaps and address technical debt for shared products
• Providing solution design consultancy support to CMG squads and projects
• Producing and owning technical roadmaps
Qualifications, Training & Certificates

Previous hands on experience in a Business Analyst, Software Engineering or Product Management role.
