The public sector client is looking to recruit a Senior Digital Service Architect for a short term contract, which will start immediately and end at the end of October 2021, (with a view to a possible extension thereafter).

The successful candidate will be working remotely for 3 days a week, however, will be required to be office based in Blackpool for 2 days a week.

The successful candidate will have a valid DBS. Please Note: This assignment sits inside IR35.

Overview of role / Technical Skills:
• To support the on-going development of the clients strategic Application Reference Architecture shared components. You will be provide expertise around Domain Modelling, Event Driven Architecture and the supporting data governance to ensure interoperable products with consistent standards and robust data documentation are delivered.
• Project is looking to deliver new shared data capability, which can be re-utilised by all of the clients  departments to deliver a single source of truth for a data domain and prevent siloing and replication of data across the client data estate in line with the client’s Data Strategy.
• Help advise and bring expertise to other data architect projects within D&A and wider client operational systems of record undergoing digital transformation journeys.
• Ensure compliance by design for GDPR and other regulatory/legislative policies for ARA Shared components
• Identify data related risks and issues within ARA Shared components – work with delivery teams to mitigate or escalate these issues where applicable
• Share knowledge with other government departments to create data solutions that enable interoperable data exchange across HMG boundaries to save time and money for the Government
