Job Description
The public sector client is looking to recruit 3 Senior Data Service Architects, for a short term temporary contract, which will run up until the end of October 2021. The successful candidates will be based in Blackpool, Peel Park. The successful candidates will have the relevant skills and experience specified below.

Essential Skills & Experience
Knowledge and Experience required:
e.g. Previous experience of working for a government dept.
• Data Architecture concepts and best practices
• Cloud-based data deployment experience
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and its application
• Knowledge of Event Based Architecture concepts
• Knowledge of Big Data Concepts
• Knowledge of GDPR, data retention and regulatory/legislative compliance
• Information about data architecture frameworks, technologies, tools and best practices
• NoSQL and Open Source database and data warehouse design/modelling, technologies, design patterns, tools and best practices
• Analytics and BI design/modelling, technologies, design patterns, tools and best practices
• Knowledge of Data Ingestion, API’s and event driven data exchange
Key Tasks & Deliverables
• To support the on-going development of the clients strategic Application Reference Architecture shared components. Provide expertise around Domain Modelling, Event Driven Architecture and the supporting data governance to ensure interoperable products with consistent standards and robust data documentation are delivered.
• Project is looking to deliver new shared data capability which can be re-utilised by all of the clients departments to deliver a single source of truth for a data domain and prevent siloing and replication of data across the clients data estate in line with the clients Data Strategy.
• Help advise and bring expertise to other data architect projects within D&A and wider clients operational systems of record undergoing digital transformation journeys.
• Ensure compliance by design for GDPR and other regulatory/legislative policies for ARA Shared components
• Identify data related risks and issues within ARA Shared components – work with delivery teams to mitigate or escalate these issues where applicable
