The public sector client is looking to recruit a Section Planner (Rail) for an 8 month temporary contract based in the southern region of Ashford New Town LMD.  The successful candidate will be based in the office 5 days a week and the approximate working hours are from 07.30am to 3.30pm. Please Note: This assignment sits inside IR35.

Knowledge of access and possession processes and systems
Safe System of Work Planning Process and System
Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

1. Plan and optimise all agreed work activities for the section.
2. Accurately update systems, databases and records as required.
3. Produce Safe System of Work plans.
4. Submit green zone access and isolation requests.
5. Produce draft quarterly plans.
6. Manage weekly Plan-Do-Review meetings.
7. Represent Section Managers at planning meetings.
8. Collate and maintain infrastructure maintenance records.

The successful candidate will have a valid DBS, or be willing to apply for one on Cv submission or if a job offer is made and accepted.
