Job Description

The public sector client is looking to recruit a Automation – Net Developer – for this 6 month temporary contract (that runs up until the end of March 2022). This job enables you to work remotely. The successful candidate must be a hands on developer and familiarity in Python is essential.

Design, create and improve new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the organisation. Have strong skills in front end or back end web developer (or both) and be ready to quickly get to work within a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, editors, and analysts focussed on one or more products or projects. Build web and mobile products to serve a variety of users’ needs. Implement APIs for internal and external use. Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment. Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developers. Take part in 2nd-line support of applications and platforms.

You will:
• Act as a technical specialist in .Net Core with C# collaborating with the development team.
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and expertise of making applications accessible.
• Work in an Agile multidisciplinary team.
• Be a graduate with a degree in a relevant subject and/or individual with relevant work experience.
• Confidently engage with stakeholders when appropriate.
• Communicate complex technical issues and risks to non-technical people, requiring the ability to translate technical impacts into a language understood by business areas and to ensure that the communication has been successful.
• Be involved in negotiations around change in scope and handling the contentious priorities of balancing changing customer needs with the need to deliver to time and budget.

Qualifications, Training & Certificates

The successful candidate will have a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one on CV submission or when a job offer has been made and accepted. This assignment sits inside IR35.

About the Rates of Pay: The higher pay rate advertised in our job advert/s will always be the highest Ltd or Umbrella Company pay rate that the client is willing to pay up to and the lower pay rate advertised in our job advert/s will always be the highest PAYE pay rate, that the client is willing to pay up to, unless otherwise specified.
