The public sector client is looking to recruit a Janitor /Handy person for a full time -12 month temporary contract based in Dunblane-Scotland. The successful candidate will be required to be onsite 5 days a week. The client will process the relevant clearance for the successful candidate.

You will have experience of working in a environment carrying out duties relevant to Janitorial/Handy person in a school environment.

You will be responsible for:

Manual handling and the movement of furniture (which man include some heavy lifting)

Help and identify minor faults in the buildings and in the grounds and fix them

Maintaining routine collection of waste/debris around the grounds

Road and path clearance of grounds (snow and ice clearance)

Operation and first line maintenance of motorised equipment, including re-fuelling in line with Health and Safety regulations

Routine compliance checks on fire doors/windows

Carrying out minor repairs and re-decoration of buildings

Miscellaneous – adhoc tasks
