Job Description
The public sector client is looking to recruit a Commercial Function Specialist for a short term temporary contract, of 3 months, which is home-based. The client is looking for a more junior specialist for this position. The successful candidate will have a valid DBS. Please Note; This assignment sits inside of IR35.
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum Requirement:
• The ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with key stakeholders, both internal and external to drive innovation and value for money solutions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Previous experience within the Construction, Engineering or Manufacturing industry.
Key Tasks & Deliverables
It would be desirable if you had:
• A knowledge of working in the Construction Industry, supporting the development of construction related category strategies.
• An understanding of model forms of Contract as used in the Construction Industry, such as NEC, JCT, PPC2000
• Experience / knowledge of procurement practices in the public sector
Qualifications, Training & Certificates
• Hold, or working towards, MRICS and/or MCIPS accreditation.
• Experience of implementing and managing with ecommerce
