Job Description

The public sector client is looking to recruit a Business Change Manager for a 6 month temporary contract based in Litchfield, however, you will mainly be working remotely at the moment but need to be able to come to the office as and when needed, some travel might also be required. The successful candidate will have a valid SC Clearance. Please Note; This assignment sits inside IR35.

You will be responsible for – Identifying Change Management requirements. Production of policy, processes, procedures, working practices and supporting guidance to promote effective. Change Management from concept to execution and review. Planning, managing and monitoring the implementation of changes, including impact assessment, resource analysis, conflict resolution and contingency planning. The successful candidate will be an Expert in Change Management concepts and practices. Capable in methods and techniques for risk management, business impact analysis, counter-measures and contingency arrangements, particularly relating to the serious disruption of business services.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience of the Office365 applications, specifically MS Teams;
• Familiar with Smarter Working fundamentals
• Understanding what is business change and comfortable with change management

• Works well with others.
• Driven and enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills;
• Flexible in approach and attitude;
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly; and
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.

Key Tasks & Deliverables

The Smarter Working Team within the clients Infrastructure Organisation requires an experienced Business Change Manager to support a variety of live projects currently in the deployment phase.

This temporary role is people focused and involves managing stakeholder relationships across the business using an understanding of change management impacts in order to plan and oversee change interventions that deliver the desired behaviors and outcomes. Activities involve supporting employee engagement and all aspects of effective change management including; stakeholder engagement, communications, change impacts, training/upskilling and business readiness.

The role will champion best practice in both change management and training and provide expert advice to the SW Programme team and wider DIO community.

• Office 365 deployment and training
• Booking Manager (Organisation space booking tool) training and implementation
• Smarter working behavioural/mindset
• Creation of relevant training artefacts to foster adoption and embedding into business as usual.
