The public sector client is looking to recruit 3 Automation Software Developers for a 9 month temporary contract, which enables you to work remotely.

The successful candidate will have a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one on CV submission or when a job offer has been made and accepted.

Minimum Requirement: Knowledge/experience that we are looking for:
• Experience of breaking down and leading test activities on a number of projects, releases and deliveries whilst working in an agile environment
• Extensive experience of designing, writing, execution and reporting of functional and non-functional testing for complex IT solutions and architectures
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, includ-ing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience in developing product test harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results
• Experience with test driven development and establishing unit, integration and contract test infrastructures
• Proven ability to clearly articulate complex technical and/or data architecture and to recognise the risks asso-ciated with that solution
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
• Experience of providing guidance to peers and junior members of the team when gaining new experience in test and assurance methodologies and tools
• Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with continuous delivery and continuous deployment
Technical skills and tech stack specific experience:
• Proficient in Python – (Hands on development in Python essential)
• Good knowledge of the FHIR standard and experience of full API development cycle
• Experience in implementing and testing solutions using technologies like
o FHIR Works on AWS framework
o AWS Lambdas
o Amazon MSK (Apache Kafka)
o AWS Lake Formation
o AWS Glue
o Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, Amazon DynamoDB
o Kubernetes, Terraform

Design, create and improve new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the organisation. Have strong skills in front end or back end web developer (or both) and be ready to quickly get to work within a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, editors, and analysts focussed on one or more products or projects. Build web and mobile products to serve a variety of users’ needs. Implement APIs for internal and external use. Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment. Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developers. Take part in 2nd-line support of applications and platforms.
