Job Description
The public sector client is looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager for an 11 month temporary contract based in Sutton Coldfield, however, there is a scheduled move for all employees based at Sutton to move to Whittington Barracks in the summer of 2021. The successful candidate will need to recognise this change of workplace address.

Essential Skills & Experience
• Excellent organisational skills
• The ability to effectively collaborate with others
• Experience with collating information from multiple projects and coordinating programmes
The successful candidate will have a valid SC (Security Clearance).
Key Tasks & Deliverables
Lead on the collation and production of monthly reporting products for the programme • Provide general support to the regional programme delivery team, e.g. meeting administration and coordination, ad hoc reporting, planning support, production of minutes and actions plans • Coordinate internal programme communications and knowledge management, e.g. management of group Inboxes, document management and control, distribution of directives and bulletins • Provide a flexible resource to support programme activities such as risk workshops, scheduling, room bookings, etc • Undertake information gathering to support the regional programme as requested by the Programme Manager • Respond to ad hoc requirements for new information, reports, changes to schedules or arrangements • Assist Project Managers in RAID (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies) management through the development, population, maintenance and issue of appropriate registers • Prepare highlight reports, regional programme level reports for meetings/boards and other reports as required in the DEO reporting cycle.
