Job Description

The public sector client is looking to recruit a Application Support Analyst for a 12 month temporary contract, which enables you to work partly remotely and partially at the office in Milton Keynes. The client has suggested that the successful candidate will be required to work at least 2 days a week in the office, whilst working remotely for the remaining 3 days.

 

Essential Skills & Experience

Requirements Include:
IT support experience – ITIL Service Management Foundation Qualification or equivalent experience in IT service management – Knowledge of IT support processes – Bright, enthusiastic and keen to learn – Proactive, hands-on approach, self-starter, able to take the initiative – Strong inter-personal skills and customer driven – Ability to work to SLAs in a fast paced IT environment – Highly structured, organised and meticulous approach to work, with strong analytical skills and a determined approach with an eye for detail. Concise approach to documentation with an emphasis on simplifying complex issues and improving processes – Ability to multi-task and balance this with the ability to consistently deliver solutions – Strong self-motivation

Key Tasks & Deliverables

The client is looking for candidates with rail experience.
Minimum Requirement: 
Working on various portfolio of schemes. 50% is on site and 50% office. Travel to other sites – train or vehicle provided.
Business support
ITIL qualification or foundation level
Customer service experience as customer facing role
Strong data analysis to support rail and train planning team.
Looking after and managing large amounts of data to support the TOCs (train operating companies) and to support multi-disciplinary projects

Qualifications, Training & Certificates

The successful candidate will have a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one on CV submission or when a job offer has been made and accepted. This assignment sits inside IR35.
