Job Description
The public sector client is looking to recruit a Service Integration/Implementation Management Lead for a 128 days temporary contract based in Corsham, with a possibility for some remote working. The successful candidate will have a valid SC Clearance. Please Note: This assignment sits inside IR35.
About the Job:
As the first organisation in Defence to deliver in-house Service Management (SM) and Security Management (SyM) solutions there is a requirement for specialist roles to focus on the development and alignment of OpNET process in order to ensure that the technical aspects of Service and Security Management have been developed in a manner which allows the programme to fulfil its mandate.
Defence Digital, Deployed Platform Services (DPS) are seeking an experienced candidate to fulfil the OpNET Live Service, Service Integration and Management (SIAM) Implementation Lead role.
Essential Skills & Experience
Essential:
– Thorough knowledge and demonstrable experience of the ITIL framework, Service Management processes, as well as a high level of IT technical competence.
– Experience of the design and implementation of complex operating models, including process design, people and organisational design, governance design as well as designing operational interfaces to with internal and external stakeholders.
– Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
– Must have the ability to adapt to uncertainties and changing priorities.
– Be responsive, innovative and seek opportunities to effect creative change.
Desirable:
– Formal project management experience, preferably PRINCE2 and Agile.
– Understanding of Military deployable CIS, preferably with experience of working on multi-mission domains.
– Experience of deployed Operational Service Management
Key Tasks & Deliverables
Specifically:
Responsible for the development, delivery and sustainability of all processes that support operational services.
Deliver detailed analysis and validation of the organisational processes and further develop these in support of the Defence Digital SIAM operating model.
Conduct SIAM process stakeholder management in support of organisational Governance.
Provide reports and supporting documentation as required.
Understand and escalate to the Programme any risks identified along with escalating immediately any issues that arise.
Understand the tooling and resource requirements of the future operating model.
Lead and support meetings and working groups as required.
Lead the development of cross boundary business agreements, including SLAs and IBAs.
